Johnny Wapstra - Founder & Director

B. Engineering (Electronics), B. Info Tech and has worked as a control systems engineer dealing in factory automation and robotics since 1995.  Has experience in mining material handling and mineral processing (Bauxite and Aluminium), stock feed plants, and built many OEM machines dealing with various types of plastics processing (nylon rope, plastic bags, DVDs) in Europe and water processing in Australia.  Has been developing prototype machinery and making Biodiesel from seed since 2015.

Dr John Wightman - Director

Brings to Seeds 2 Diesel the knowledge accumulated while working on farms as an agricultural scientist and farm adviser across Africa, Asia, the Pacific Nations, and Australia. In recent years, his focus has widened from peanut crops to many other oil seed crops, but especially industrial hemp and agroforestry systems based on oil seed trees. John was awarded a PhD degree by the Department of Agriculture of the University of Bristol UK. He has published extensively, and recently coauthored a book on Food Security.
